Online Giving to Horizon Christian School

Your gift to Horizon Christian School makes a difference to every student and teacher in our community. We have an increasing number of friends of Horizon who are benefiting from life income gifts, gift annuities and other plans. Thank you for taking the time to explore the benefits of gift donations.

Horizon Christian School offers a secure way to process your online credit card donations through the eProcessing Network. You may enter a description and a dollar value (example 100.00) on the first line if you are happy to support the school as a whole, or if you prefer to split your gift to one or more areas of the school,( i.e. general operations, athletic programs, Master Plan, playground, cafeteria, music, fine arts, tuition assistance fund) just enter the description and the dollar value for each line.

Click "Continue" and you will be taken to the external Secure Credit Card Transaction Processing page where you will finish the transaction by filling out your billing information. Once you click submit, you will be returned to the Horizon Christian School home page. Thank you for your generous giving!

Horizon Christian School is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation and all donations and online giving are tax deductible.

Note: Horizon Christian School is unable to accept international credit card payments.

Other Ways To Give
Challenges like the Horizon Master Plan provide unique opportunities for our generation to contribute to the legacy of Horizon Christian School and the impact it will make upon our region. We are seeking the involvement of others to come forward at this special time in the life of our school. There are opportunities for everyone!

Your participation in Advancing the Vision can be realized in a variety of other ways including:

  • Financial Contributions - This project will require gifts of all sizes. Financial commitments to the project can be amortized over three years.
  • Gifts In Kind - A project of this magnitude offers scores of opportunities for companies, organizations, and individuals to provide "in kind" contributions of time, product, and skills.
  • Grants - Foundations, corporations and charitable trusts will be solicited during our community campaign to consider a special grant to enhance Hood River through their participation in this project.
  • Gifts of Assets - Many individuals have appreciated financial assets that could be allocated to this project. The gift of an asset could result in an accelerated tax deduction based on current value regardless of cost basis and without capital gains liability. Other planned giving programs can be designed to accelerate current income while at the same time, making a significant financial contribution to this worthy project.
  • Memorial Gifts - A large number of naming opportunities are available for those who wish to honor a loved one.
  • Matching Gifts - Many employers have a matching program in which their employees may participate.
  • Individual Matching Grant - Individuals may choose to establish a matching grant for donations received.

No gift is inconsequential to the project. We invite you to participate in what God is doing in and through Horizon Christian School with an impact to our community and world.  Horizon Christian School is a 501(c)(3) organization.  Your contributions are tax deductible.

Consider your plan for giving

  • Your gift is a gift to God: an investment in His ministry
  • Your gift is in addition to any other regular giving to the school
  • Your commitment should be made after prayer to God's guidance and in the spirit of sacrifice
  • Your gift may be given in any amount at any interval over the next three years
  • You may want to consider a non-cash gift. There are special tax benefits for gifts of items that have appreciated in value since purchase
