Classes and Age Requirements

Three Pre-kindergarten options are offered:

  • Option 1 : Monday through Friday – He/she must be four years of age on or before September 1 of the school year.
  • Option 2:  Monday/Wednesday/Friday – He/she must be four years of age on or before September 1 of the school year.
  • Option 3: Tuesday/Thursday – He/She must be three years of age by September 1 and be fully potty trained and socially/emotionally ready

Goals

  • To give each child an enjoyable introduction to school
  • To present phonics and math concepts in a variety of ways that allow each child to learn within his or her ability
  • To assist each child in learning the alphabet, corresponding letter sounds, and the basics of reading

My son loves Pre-K at Horizon! It is a happy, kind, class with patient loving teachers who reach the individual child. He comes home with a heart filled with God and a mind filled with new information. We are tremendously blessed.
